When applying Diatomite USA's Pest Control Powder simply lightly dust the affected area. Slugs and snails avoid moving across the DE because of the microscopic sharp edges that cut into them. (It's absorbency also helps to dehydrate them.)
Spread the diatomite dust around the base of the plant making sure to create an area that covers the plants entire circumference. Reapply the powder after heavy rains. |
